Young people ages 18 to 25 may apply to travel to Peru this summer with DNTUlimit (Don’t Know Your Limit), a small socially conscious organization co-founded by North Shore resident Emily Melden.
From August 3 - 20, participants will travel through the Sacred Valley of Peru, engaging in adventure activities, personal development coaching, and working with Manos Unidas, a school for special needs in Cusco, Peru. At Manos Unidas,participants will work with elementary school children, teaching music and expressive movement classes. In addition, the group will work with Manos Unidas' adult program, teaching sustainable farming and gardening techniques to individuals transitioning into the workplace.
The program is limited to 10 participants; registration is due prior to July 18.
