WPI Honors North Reading's Cole Godzinski
Track star named to NEWMAC Academic All-Conference team.

North Reading sophomore Cole Godzinski was one of 60 WPI Spring student-athletes to earn NEWMAC Academic All-Conference honors. Godzinski is in her second year competing in sprints and jumping events on the women's track team.
Led by 15 three-time honorees, 60 WPI spring student-athletes across five sports achieved NEWMAC Academic All-Conference status. Women's Rowing led the conference while Baseball and Women's Track & Field tied for the top spot on their lists while the track programs boasted 16 selections each.
Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2016 fall semester, achieved second year academic status at his/her institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) consists of 11 highly selective institutions committed to academic excellence: Babson College, Clark University, U.S Coast Guard Academy, Emerson College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, Springfield College, Wellesley College, Wheaton College, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
