2 Pull Woman From Burning Car In Norton
Passing drivers were able to pull a woman from her car before it became engulfed in flames Monday night.

NORTON, MA β Passing drivers pulled a woman from her burning car Monday night in Norton, according to reports. The crash occurred on I-495 South near the Taunton line around 9 p.m. The woman's car went off the highway, struck a guardrail and sign pole on an embankment and came to a stop behind the guardrail, fire officials told the Sun Chronicle.
Two drivers stopped and pulled the woman from her car before it became engulfed in flames. She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to reports.
The car was fully ablaze when the fire department arrived, the Sun Chronicle reported.
