1. Krisanthi Pappas performance

Local jazz, cabaret and pop vocalist Krisanthi Pappas will perform at EPOCH Assisted Living of Norton 3 p.m. Pappas plays piano and drums and writes musical arrangements. She has extensive performing experience, having shared the stage with Branford Marsalis, Chuck Mangione, The Yellowjackets and others. This event is free and open to the public. 2. Prenatal yoga class

Westwood-Mansfield Pediatric Associates, 454 Chauncy St., Mansfield, will have a prenatal yoga class 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Cost is $10 per class and you can join any time. Bring your mat or borrow one from a friend. Blocks and blankets will be provided. Advance registration is required as space is limited. Register with the receptionist or online at www.wmpeds.com. Class will be led in Mansfield by Michelle Connolly, a nurse and childbirth instructor who also is a certified yoga instructor who teaches prenatal yoga at Breathe Joy Yoga in Sharon and the Attleboro YMCA.

3. Skating Show "On Broadway"

The 28th annual Skating Show "On Broadway" will include performances by the Skating Club of Southern New England local skaters. There will be individual skaters, group numbers, synchronized skating and theatre on ice. The show starts 2 p.m. at 1 Hon Gordon M Owen Riverway, Taunton and tickets are $12. Call or email for tickets or more information. The skating club is a non profit organization.

Invest in a drying rack and take the time to air dry your freshly laundered clothes. Also, experts suggest investing in a front loading washing machine, and washing in cold water. It’ll use less power, water, heat and hence, cost you less.
