Abington Man Dies After Norton Motorcycle Crash

A 72-year-old man died Friday night after his motorcycle went off the road in Norton.

NORTON, MA – An Abington man died Friday night after his motorcycle went off the road in Norton, police said. Police responded to a report of a crash involving a motorcycle in the area of 198 Bay Road around 7:30 p.m. Several drivers had stopped at the scene and were attempting to provide first aid to the driver of the motorcycle, according to Norton police.

The driver was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he later died, police said. He was identified as 72-year-old Paul Deluca.

Investigators believe Deluca was riding his motorcycle on Bay Road toward Easton when it went off the road and struck a fence. That area of Bay Road was closed for approximately two hours Friday night.
