NORTON, MA— Norton Fire Rescue is giving participants a chance to put their emergency response skills to the test through a unique, hands-on training opportunity.
On Friday, Nov. 6, the department will offer COMET Obstetrics Simulation Training, designed to prepare participants for high-pressure medical emergencies.
During the training, attendees will face realistic simulations of rare but potentially life-threatening situations, allowing them to practice their skills under pressure.
The hyperrealistic scenarios are designed to create the stress and anxiety that can accompany real emergencies, helping participants build confidence and sharpen their decision-making skills.
Two sessions are still available, with both taking place at the Norton Fire Department.
Those interested in gaining hands-on experience can register online.
The training aims to give participants the knowledge and experience needed to respond when every second counts and their actions could help save a life.
