Strong Showing in Boston at the MSTCA Auerbach Freshman-Sophomore Track meet for Norton High Runners. Medals were awarded in Boston this past Saturday to area winners. Hundreds of athletes from the area meet to compete. Amy Pereira took 1st in the shot put heaving a throw of 33’9.5” which was about 3 ft further than second place. Kylee Barrows took 6th place throwing 28’10.5”. Mike Tierney ran a 2:52 in the 1000 for third place and jumped 5'4" in the high jump for 4th place, Cameron Stalters was fourth in the 55 m hurdles at 9.01 and the 4x400m team of Tierney, Stalters, Tyreque Cabrera and Parker Cleathero finished in 6th place with a time of 4:00.4. Medals were awarded to top 6 finishers.
