Assault and Fireworks in Norton Police Log: July 2 - 3

Monday, July 2
3:21 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue, domestic disturbance.
3:52 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue. Police arrested Michael Killion, 27, of Mansfield Avenue, and charged him with assault and battery and intimidating a witness.
8:54 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue, assisted Norton Fire Department for help with bi-polar male. Transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
1:19 p.m.: W. Main Street, two-car motor vehicle accident. No injuries. Both vehicles left under own power, report taken.
1:56 a.m.: Plain Street, motor vehicle accident. Caller reports someone struck a section of his fence.
6:23 p.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle accident involving possible intoxicated female.
6:34 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, motor vehicle accident. Caller reports a hit and run in the parking lot. Offending motor vehicle is from New Hampshire.
6:48 p.m.: E. Main Street. Police arrested Michele M. Silveira, 43, of Kilton Street, Taunton, and charged her with marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, second offense.
7:32 p.m.: W. Main Street, larceny. Incident opened for management from Trinity who is
coming in to file a complaint against a former female employee, for stolen monies/missing deposit.
Tuesday, July 3
8:42 a.m.: Burt Street, motor vehicle accident. Vehicle on side. Single vehicle versus landscaping trailer with two people in vehicle. Transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
12:22 p.m.: E. Main Street, fraud/embezzlement. Internet scam.
2:26 p.m.: Barrows Street, domestic disturbance.
5:53 p.m.: Oak Street, domestic disturbance.
8:27 p.m.: W. Main Street, general disturbance. Caller reports youths setting off fireworks in the parking lot. Area search negative.
9:47 p.m.: Hadley Road, suspicious condition. Caller reports that over the last couple of weeks, a group of seven to eight teenage boys have been ringing his doorbell and running away. Β He is getting very frustrated with the situation.
10:51 p.m.: E. Main Street, general disturbance. Caller reports fireworks in the area. Confiscated.
11:38 p.m.: Freeman Street, general disturbance. Caller reports multiple fireworks in the area across from his residence. No fireworks left upon arrival, subjects were advised.
