Assault Over Parking Space in Norton Police Log: June 18 - 20

The following information was supplied by the Norton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, June 18
3:16 p.m.: Colonial Drive, fraud/embezzlement. Walk-in reporting an attempted internet fraud.

Tuesday, June 19
8:26 a.m.: John Scott Boulevard, breaking and entering of a building.
9:43 a.m.: Taylor Court, vandalism. Walk in reporting vandalism and arson. One item burned.
Window to the shed was broken.
9:45 a.m.: W. Main Street, two-car motor vehicle accident. No injuries. Less than $1,000 in damages.
1:35 p.m.: S. Worcester Street, general disturbance. Subject smashing televisions. Attempting to get them into the trash.
8:18 p.m.: Juniper Road, traffic complaint. Report of six or seven people who drove off, possibly intoxicated. Three intoxicated juvenile females located. One vomited in cruiser. Mothers notified. Transport to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
9:20 p.m.: Jacobs Way, vandalism. Damage to landscape and street signs.

Wednesday, June 20
7:16 a.m.: E. Hodges Street, vandalism. Mailbox knocked over.
1:07 p.m.: Patten Road, suspicious condition. Caller reports male on property that will not leave. Verbal argument. Subject left prior to arrival.
2:43 p.m.: Cottage Street, harassment/threats.
6:26 p.m.: Taylor Court, assault. Caller reports she was just assualted by her neighbor. While on phone, neighbor also called. Both parties advised officers enroute. Peace restored. Both parties advised. Issue over parking space.
9:25 p.m.: Todd Drive, breaking and entering of a residence. Caller reports someone attempting to break in through the back slider. Male checked. He was there to visit a resident.
