The results of this week’s Best Of series are in! It was a tight race until the very end with 118 votes and 12 reviews among our top three contestants, but beat out the competition in the last 24 hours to pull off the win for the Best Hair Salon in Norton.
had a small lead in the beginning, and held off long enough for the third place finish with 14 votes. The second place runner up is with 15 votes and four 5-star reviews.
“By far the best salon not only in Norton, but in southeastern Massachusetts,” said user Cindy T. of Studio 63. “The salon itself is very welcoming; the stylists are top-draw, the atmosphere is beyond friendly and my hair has never looked better. They are right on top of the latest styles and really enjoy creating a more beautiful you! I have received so many compliments on my hair-styles. The stylists take the time to listen to you and to create the perfect look -- consistently. The salon is well-managed and they are always on schedule. I can't count how many people I have recommended to Studio 63 because it is truly the best salon in the area.”
And then there’s our winner, Outlooks Hair Salon, with eight five-star reviews. The salon, owned by Melissa Lovenbury, got 47 percent of the votes.
"They have an amazing staff with amazing talents and an amazing salon environment," said user Brianna DelSanto. "I always get compliments on my hair, I always refer them to my friends, and they aren't afraid of me and my crazy ideas!! What more could you ask for?
Outlooks Hair Salon offers a selection of services for your hair care needs. The stylists there do women’s, men's and children's haircuts, perms, color, foils, highlights, deep conditioning, scalp treatments, make-up and natural nail manicures. They sell the American made product "L'ANZA" among other great items and specialize in wedding parties. They have a great, friendly staff to boot. Walk-ins are accepted.
"We pride ourselves on monthly education classes and keeping up with the trends/certification," Lovenbury said. "We are newly renovated, one of the oldest salons in Norton."
Outlooks Hair Salon will be presented with a certificate at a time and date to be determined.
