UPDATE: Body of Missing Norwood Man Found in Norton Wildlife Refuge
Missing Norwood man found dead in L. A. Foster Wildlife Refuge.

Norton Police Department has identified the body as Milo Rogers, 76, of Norwood.

Norton Police released a statement Monday afternoon stating that on Monday morning at approximately 9:15 a.m., members of the Norton Fire Department dive team located a man, missing from Norwood, in the Wading River, deceased.
The search began on Sunday at approximately 7:45 p.m., when the 76-year-old man was reported missing from Norwood. Norwood Police reported that the man was reported missing at approximately 7:00 p.m. that evening.

Norton Patrolman Michael McKenney located the manβs vehicle parked on the side of Taunton Avenue (Rt. 140), beside the Wading River Bridge.
"Officers began searching the immediate area with the assistance of the Norton Fire Department, K9 units from the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council (METROLEC), and a helicopter from the Mass State Police Air Wing," reads the statement.
The Norton Fire Department Dive Team utilized a boat in the river, along with divers, and was assisted by the North Attleboro Fire Department Dive Team.
The incident is currently under investigation by Det. Lt. Thomas Petersen Jr. No information is available on the cause of death at this time.

Norton police and fire officials found the body of a 76-year-old man reported missing from Norwood at approximately 9:15 a.m. Monday.
The man, whose name has not yet been released, was reported missing at 7:00 p.m. Sunday. Norton police found his car parked beside the Wading River Bridge on Taunton Avenue yesterday and began a search with the assistance of the Norton Fire Department, North Attleboro Fire Department Dive Team, K9 units from the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council (METROLEC) and a helicopter from the Mass State Police Air Wing., which ended around 11:00 p.m. last night and resumed again 7:00 a.m. this morning until Norton Fire Department dive team found him in Wading River in L. A. Foster Wildlife Refuge.Β
βThe fire department found him in the water about 100 yards or so downstream,β said Norton Police Lieutenant Todd Jackson.
Police are still investigating the cause of his death at this time.
