The Bearcroft Bears Swim Team is gearing up for the 2013 summer swim season. Last year over 60 swimmers, including Norton residents Eric and Renee Sanford, led the Bearcroft team to a 5 and 1 winning season. And, at the season-ending 2012 All Pool Meet, the Girls 11-12 freestyle relay team captured the first place medal with a come-from-behind victory. Swimming in the region’s Narragansett League, the Bearcroft Bears practice and compete from the end of June through the beginning of August.
