Norton Runners Have Outstanding Day at Freshman/Sophomore Meet

Norton High School Runners have great showing at Freshman/Sophomore Track Meet for Div 3 & 4 schools

The NHS Boys and Girls Track team brought home many medals at the Freshman/Sophomore Meet in Westwood over the weekend.

Sophomore Kassidy Campbell received the Outstanding Runner Award for placing first in the 400 hurdles with a meet record of 1:06.69, second in the 100 m hurdles and 6th in Long Jump.

Soph. Mike Tierney placed second in the 400 m, 3rd in high Jump and 5th as a member of the 4 x 400 m relay team.

Soph. Cameron Stalters placed 4th in the 100 m Hurdles and 6th in the Javelin.

Other Medal winners were Freshman Justin Ireland who placed 4th in the 200, receiving 5th place medals was the 4 x 400 relay team of Sophomores Tierney, Eric Sanford, Troy Parker and Freshman Parker Cleathero, Soph. Elliot Ariola 6th in the 100m hurdles, Marissa Amato 6th in the Javelin, and Amy Periera 6th in Shot Put
