Old Colony Habitat for Humanity is Back in Norton!
Old Colony Habitat for Humanity is building a "green" house in town.
Well, it took several years, but the Old Colony Habitat for Humanity affiliate is back in Norton, this time building a home in the Grove. We're excited for several reasons including working with the wonderful folks in Norton again, working right near the reservoir, and building a "green" house! Yup, this home, which will be two stories with front and rear porches, will also be an Energy Star home. How great is that?
Curious? Want to help out? There are lots of ways to help us beyond swinging a hammer or adding paint to the walls. We can always use help raising money, and we can also use help getting the word out about our affiliate.
Come meet us this Saturday, July 16, for our first official build day on Hawthorne Road. IMPORTANT: To volunteer, please use the VolunteerUp button on the top, right-hand side of our website -- www.oldcolonyhabitat.org.
