
The joint – also known as the Norton Senior Center – will be jumpin’ August 7, when the blues-and-roots-music group, Jumpin’ Juba, performs its musical magic.
The duo of guitarist/vocalist Steve Hurl and upright bass player David Lockeretz, have appeared at venues in more than 100 Massachusetts cities and towns. They present unique arrangements of classic blues, jazz, rock, and folk music from New Orleans, Memphis, Chicago and beyond.
The concert, sponsored in part by the Norton Cultural Council, begins at 1pm. Admission is free, but registration is required. To register, call the Senior Center at 508-285-0235.
