Closed Roads in Norton Police Log: June 23 - 24

Saturday, June 23
8:37 a.m.: Cross Street, refer to another agency. Caller reports a cover to a sewer or drain is
missing and a sink hole is forming. Cross Street closed.
9:24 a.m.: Park Lane, domestic disturbance.
9:51 a.m.: Kensington Road, general disturbance. Email about neighbor relieving himself on his own property and was able to see. They were advised of options.
10:43 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue, liquor law violation. Open alcohol issues.
10:47 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue, general disturbance. Tailgating has started up at Roche Bros lot. 11:48 a.m.: W. Main Street, breaking and entering of an unlocked motor vehicle. Silver iPod and charger stolen.
7:19 p.m.: Jackson Street, general services. Caller reports a tree limb on a wire in the area. Road closed until National Grid fixed wire.
9:38 p.m.: Haskell Street, general disturbance. Caller request rescue for 19-year-old male who took three hits of acid and is very violent. Transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

Sunday, June 24
2:31 a.m.: Barrows Court, assisted Norton Fire Department. Caller reports unresponsive 74-year-old female, cpr in progress. Transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
4:27 a.m.: Tremont Street, Taunton, assisted Taunton Police Department. Called to report chase of a vehicle with four males suspected of participating in shooting. Possible second car involved.
12:06 p.m.: Old Colony Road, breaking and entering of a building. Caller reports his liquor store was broken into overnight. Photos and evidence tagged.
5:19 p.m.: Norton Glen Road, general disturbance. Caller reports her 10 year old neighbor was outside with a knife, swinging at her son and other kids. Officer reports it was a butterknife. No threats made.
