Deadline Looms For Norton Charter Commission Survey
Online survey soliciting ideas for possible changes in the Norton town charter can be found here and is due Dec. 8.
NORTON, MA β Norton is putting out a last call for any residents who would like to contribute to the Charter Commission survey. Deadline for submissions is Dec. 8.
The Norton Charter Commission was formed in April during the town election. It is charged with spending the next year gathering information, conducting surveys, meeting with the public and researching and analyzing different charters and forms of government from around the state. It will then determine whether to propose to voters changes in the Norton town charter in April 2021.
All residents, officials β appointed or elected β and town employees are welcome and encouraged to provide input throughout our review process. All Charter Commission meetings are open to the public and time will be allocated in every meeting for public comment. One way to provide input is through submitting the online survey here by Dec. 8.
