Dog Given Marijuana in Norton Police Log: June 27 - 29

Wednesday, June 27
9:50 a.m.: Godfrey Drive, fraud/embezzlement. Caller reports his mother believes she was a victim of a phone scam. She wired $2,500 to an individual in New York.
10:14 a.m.: E. Main Street, fraud/embezzlement. Walk-in reporting patient who falsified a prescription.
12:08 p.m.: Richardson Avenue, animal incident. Report of dog bite.
6:11 p.m.: Pleasant Street, motor vehicle accident. Caller reports hit and run with damage to his vehicle in the Planet Fitness parking lot. Witness to accident said car was a Silver SUV.
7:13 p.m.: Kin Philip Road, breaking and entering of a residence. Caller reports coming home and finding her back door open, and drawers open. No one is presently in the house, and caller isn't sure if anything is missing.
8:53 p.m.: Parker Street, general disturbance. Caller reports hearing gunshots from the area. Another caller reporting fireworks in the area of 15 E. Hodges.
Thursday, June 28
3:36 a.m.: Plain Street, suspicious condition. Resident reports a male subject walking down the
driveway and when subject saw him he jumped into bushes. Area search negative.
7:42 a.m.: Barrows Court, vandalism. Caller reporting windshield smashed overnight.
8:27 a.m.: N. Washington Street, vandalism. Walk-in reporting vehicles window smashed overnight.
9:02 a.m.: Robin Circle, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. Caller reports husband left her vehicle unlocked and someone broke into it. Β She reports her Garmin, its case and an iphone charger were taken.
9:56 a.m.: Johnson Drive, suspicious condition. Caller reports hearing multiple gunshots from behind her house. Area search negative.
6:43 p.m.: Hawthorne Road, assisted the fire department. Caller reports 68-year-old diabetic having a low reaction. Police assistance cancelled.
7:59 p.m.: Plain Street Cemetery, general services. smoke in area. Appears to be a fire quite a ways behind the cemetery. Smoke has dissipated, possibly due to a camping fire in the area,
unable to locate it.
8:12 p.m.: E. Main Street, domestic disturbance.
Friday, June 29
10:02 a.m.: Buttonwood Road, larceny. Real estate signs were taken.
12:08 p.m.: Norton Glen Road, assisted other agency. DCS reporting they will be removing a child from a residence. They will be stopping in the station to have officers assist them.
1:26 p.m.: Barrows Street, motor vehicle accident. Caller reporting motor vehicle accident, car versus FedEx truck. no injuries reported.
1:29 p.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. AAA reports receiving call from a female who states she drove off the driveway and into trees. She is uninjured, but cannot open door.
3:04 p.m.: E. Main Street, drug offense.
3:39 p.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle accident involving motorcycle. Left under own power.
5:31 p.m.: W. Main Street, drug offense. Caller reports three youths smoking marijuana in the back and blowing it into their dogs' face. All three issued town by-law citations.
8:37 p.m.: W. Main Street, trespassing. Walk-in reporting multiple skateboarders refusing the leave the property. Youths advised.
