EPOCH Assisted Living of Norton is home to many talented seniors, including artists. Thomas Casso is one such resident. EPOCH will host an art gallery opening featuring Casso’s paintings on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 3 p.m. Growing up on a small farm in Connecticut, Casso developed a deep love of nature and all its beauty, which would later influence his art. Although he pursued a career in pharmacy speech therapy, he continued to draw and paint on the side. Today, retirement has afforded him the freedom to devote himself to his craft. Casso has taken art classes but considers himself to be primarily self-taught through books and endless practice. He loves to share his work with others.
