Chartley Garden Club of Norton to host Annual Plant Sale and 17th Century Artisans Exhibit May 21st.
The Chartley Garden Club of Norton will host a dual event on Saturday, May 21st at the Historical Society's Old Schoolhouse lawn, which is located at 18 W. Main St. in Norton. The annual plant sale will feature herbs, a drawing for beautifully arranged planters, and over 200 perennials that are grown by club members. All proceeds are used in the beautification of the Town Common and Veteran's Memorials.
Additionally, to spotlight the 300th Birthday Celebration of the Town of Norton, the Garden Club has organized a group of 17th Century Artisans. Over a dozen artisans will demonstrate their wares and trades. There will be a beekeeper, basket maker, baker, bucket maker, blacksmith, chair caner, quilters, spinner, sign maker and cheese maker.

Both the plant sale and exhibition will be held from 10am - 2 pm. Admission is free.
