Mansfield and Norton Emergency Management Agencies are jointly scheduling a Fall session of CERT Training. CERT training provides basic disaster preparedness and survival skills.
CERT is a nine session course that provides training in:

- Fire Safety and proper use of Fire Extinguishers
- First Aid
- Disaster Medical Operations
- Search and Rescue
- Terrorism
- Disaster Psychology
- Team organization & Incident Command
- Simulated Disaster exercise

Training will be held on Thursday evenings from 7 to 9:30 p.m. starting Thursday, Oct. 13 at the Mansfield Public Library and Senior Center, 255 Hope St., Mansfield. Pre registration is encouraged as seats are limited.
