Egg Hunt at Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary

Spring is the time for eggs and egg laying. We'll learn about the birds, frogs, insects and salamanders who are laying eggs in our habitats of forest, field, lake and marsh. We'll also learn how to color hard boiled eggs with natural dyes. The teacher-naturalist will hide the colored eggs in our field and we'll see how well they are camouflaged as we try to find them. We'll then head out to the marsh to search for the eggs of birds, bugs, frogs, and salamanders!

Instructions and Directions: Bring smock or wear clothing that can get messy.
