Author Fern Schumer Chapman will visit Norton Middle School during the school day for kids and at night for parents and the general public on April 28 to discuss her book “Is It Night or Day?” and answer questions. Chapman’s book was inspired by her mother’s experiences as one of the 1,200 children rescued from the Holocaust by Americans as part of the One Thousand Children Project during World War.
