Norton Historical Society & LPS Dinner & Meeting

The Land Preservation Society (LPS) of Norton and the Norton Historical Society are holding their combined annual meeting at the Old Schoolhouse on May 21, 2013. A cold ham buffet will begin at 6 pm. The cost is $3.00 per person and all are welcome. After the buffet, brief meetings of both societies will be held.

The speaker this year is William (Bill) Napolitano, the Environmental Program Director of SRPEDD (Southeastern Regional Planning and Economic Development District.) He has chosen to speak on “River Restoration: Reclaiming Heritage and Habitat.” Mr. Napolitano has built his successful environmental planning career around a strong and positive partnership with communities and organizations across southeastern Massachusetts.

Come and enjoy an old-fashioned country dinner buffet and learn about our local rivers’ past, present and future.
