Fatal Bull Riding Accident In Norton
The 35-year-old Brazilian man suffered fatal injuries when he fell from a bull he was training.

NORTON, MA — A bull riding accident involving a 35-year-old Brazilian man has proved fatal. Norton Police said Evaldo Silva succumbed to injuries suffered Wednesday night, when he fell off a bull he was training at the New England Rodeo.
Silva was wearing protective gear when he fell and was trampled by the bull, police said. Foul play is not suspected.
Silva was pronounced dead at Rhode Island Hospital.

The New England Rodeo is hosting a benefit rodeo for Silva Saturday night, according to its Facebook page. All proceeds will go to his family, a flyer says.
"In memory of Evaldo Silva. We are getting together Saturday .. all the funds will Go his family!! Please help us raise the funds necessary to pay for the expenses..." the Facebook page reads.
