Fire Department Responds to Fire Call on S. Worcester Street

Norton Fire Department responded to a call at approximately 4:58 p.m. Wednesday for a shed fire at 48 S. Washington Street.

Upon arrival, a 10 X 15 shed full of firewood and log splitter was on fire, along with an acre of brush. The fire department cleared the scene at 6:58 p.m. Approximately $5,000 worth of damage was incurred. The cause is still under investigation.
