Former Principal to Take the Helm of Bishop Feehan Once Again
Dr. George Milot to be principal for a year until position filled in long-term.

Dr. George Milot has been appointed as the ninth principal at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro.
Milot’s appointment was approved by Bishop George W. Coleman and announced by Diocesan Superintendent of Schools Dr. Michael Griffin at a gathering of faculty and staff in the Bishop Feehan chapel Tuesday, June 5.
Well known throughout the Diocese, Milot served as principal of Bishop Feehan from 1994 to 2001, and as Diocesan Superintendent of Schools from 2001 to 2011. Milot has committed to serve as principal once again for a one-year period.

“Dr. Milot’s extensive knowledge of the school, his deep commitment to Catholic education and his broad experience as an educator will provide Bishop Feehan with timely leadership and will allow the school the flexibility to undertake an in-depth search over the course of the next school year to fill the principal position for the long term," said Bishop Feehan president Chris Servant.
Milot and his wife Sue are Taunton natives. Milot is a graduate of Coyle & Cassidy High School in Taunton, Stonehill College in Easton and holds several advanced degrees including a PhD in Educational leadership from Seton Hall University.

Presently, Milot is working as a consultant for the University of Notre Dame Alliance for Catholic Education program. Milot will formally assume his duties on July 1.
