Junior Friends Meeting

Monday April 11, 2016 5:00 PM-6:30 PM Junior Friends Meeting

Join us for a our monthly youth volunteers meeting to discuss ideas for projects and upcoming events. All interested volunteers in grades 4-12 are welcome. Parents/guardians welcome to stay for the meeting to help with scheduling decisions.

The Junior Friends of the Norton Library is a group designed to let youth take an active role in library programming, promotion, fundraising, and decision-making. Junior Friends will be open to students in grades 4-12. Members will have opportunities to do help improve the library by decorating the children’s room, keeping the children’s and young adult book collections tidy and beautiful, running programs for younger kids, fundraising, etc., and also will have opportunities to influence library book, music, movie, downloadables, and video game selection, and youth event planning.
