Local Band to Donate iTunes Proceeds to Breast Cancer Awareness

Last month the boys from local band spoke with Norton Patch about their continued success as they strive to become a household name in the music scene. But their music is only one part of what makes this alternative rock band so special.

Recently they finished recording a song called "Just Listen," a song meant to spread awareness about breast cancer. The inspiration came from lead guitarist Clay Taranto’s mother, Noreen, who just surpassed her five year breast cancer survivorship anniversary. She wrote a poem of her experience, and Taranto adapted it to a song. The song encourages the listener to stay strong, no matter how tough it gets.

This song is now available on iTunes for $.99. Taranto and the band will contribute all net proceeds from the song to promote breast cancer awareness, with a goal of raising $10,000.
