MA School Bus Hits Trees With Kids On Board, Drives Off (Video)
A Raynham bus driver was fired after she allegedly struck two trees and continued along her route.

RAYNHAM, MA β A Raynham school bus driver has been fired after allegedly crashing into two trees and continuing along her route with students on board Monday afternoon. Francelle Fleurine, 34, of Attleboro, was also cited for leaving the scene of an accident and a marked lanes violation.
Police said the bus hit a tree and then backed into a second tree, smashing the rear window. Authorities believe Fleurine was running late and tried to turn around in the area of 80 Locust St. when the crashes happened.
There were at least 10 middle school students on board at the time, according to a press release. No injuries were reported.

"Please know that the safety and wellbeing of our students is always our top priority," Swenson said in a statement. "This afternoon, some of our Raynham Middle School students who ride Bus 42 were placed in an unsafe situation when the driver attempted to turn the bus around, unfortunately backing into a tree that resulted in the shattering of the rear glass window. The driver then decided to continue the route. Please know that this is absolutely unacceptable."
