Man Found with Explosives in Foxborough Hotel Room Pleads Not Guilty

Stephen A. Mudge Jr. also arrested for breaking and entering in Norton.

Stephen A. Mudge Jr.,Β , pleaded not guilty and asked for a mental health evaluation in court Monday, according to Fox25 Boston. He was also arrested for July 5.

Mudge, 41, of Taunton, originally of Easton, appeared in Wrentham District Court Monday and pleaded not guilty to eight counts possession of a destructive or incendiary device after Foxborough Police found "homemade explosives" in Mudge's hotel room at on Route 1 Friday, acocrding to Foxborough Police detective Tom Kirrane.

Kirrane said Friday's arrest was the result of a two-week investigation after Mudge was wanted for alleged break-ins in Norton, Easton and Raynham.
