Norton Dance Instructor Sentenced for Raping Student
Keith Sampson, 37, a former Norton dance instructor, raped a 15-year-old student.
NORTON, MA — A former Norton dance instructor convicted of raping one of his students was sentenced to more prison time this week.

Keith Sampson, 37, was sentenced to five years in prison Friday during a federal court hearing in Rhode Island.
The victim was 15 years old at the time. Sampson admitted to giving her alcohol then raping her in 2007. He has served the last seven years in a Massachusetts prison; he will serve his new sentence in Rhode Island.

Sampson was also convicted of statutory rape in 2008 in a case that involved another victim at a dance studio he owned in Johnston, R.I.
