RAINY WEATHER DIDN’T DAMPEN THE
NORTON FESTIVAL of LIGHTS
By Peter J. Wiggins
Despite the weather being rainy and cloudy, Norton Residents trotted out to the Norton Common on the 1st of December for the Norton Festival of Lights Ceremonies held there as the residents were given free hot cocoa and cookies and had photos with Santa, musician Timmy Brown sang some tunes and the Norton Singers sung a few carols and Bob Kimball, board of selectmen led the countdown to the turning on of the lights on the trees at the common and everyone had a good time and for me despite being wet, I was in a happy and festive mood tonight at the Norton Common.
