Norton Fire Department Seeks Firefighters And Paramedics

NORTON, MA —If you're looking for a career change, the town of Norton may have the perfect opportunity.

The town is looking to add new firefighters and paramedics to its ranks, with applications open through Wednesday, Oct. 21.

While applications are open to the public, candidates must meet several requirements.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid Massachusetts driver's license and have paramedic certification or be nearing completion of a paramedic training program. They must also be able to pass a background check.

Those hired will receive a variety of benefits, including competitive pay, paid vacation and weekly overtime opportunities.

Salaries range from $76,000 to $104,000, depending on qualifications.
