THE LIGHT SHINES ON THE GRADUATES
It was a picture perfect evening at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts where 175 Graduates of the Norton High School class of 2014 started off the Graduation Ceremony with the traditional Pomp and Circumstance piece with the Processional and after the pledge of allegiance and Star Spangled Banner, and Class of 2014 President Rachel Anderson spoke a great address of Welcome and the Norton High School Chorus led by Music Director Nick Krafka sung Don’t Stop Thinking About Tomorrow by Fleetwood Mac and Meghan Burgess spoke a nice class poem “Look Around and Natalie Connors and Tyler McNeill came up with great original essays and after a presentation of Class by Norton High Principal Megan Lafayette and an acceptance of class by Dr. Joseph Baeta, the superintendent of Norton Public School and a quick speech by Deniz Savas, Chairman School Committee, all 175 graduates were handed their diplomas by Dr. Baeta and the usual handshakes while Mrs. Lafayette spoke their names clearly and after they handed the diplomas out, all the graduates raised and flew their caps into the air as the Norton High School class of 2014 ended their chapter of High School and writing a new chapter in their lives as they are entering the real world beginning tomorrow and I’m proud of the Norton High Class of 2014 and they did a great job from Kindergarten to Grade 12 and they are moving on to the real world
