Norton Police Arrest Suspect For Outstanding Warrant
Joseph R. Wolf arrested under several charges.

At 11:30 Monday morning, Norton Police placed Joseph R. Wolf, 48, of 86 Barrows St., Norton, under arrest at his residence for three outstanding arrest warrants.Β
Wolf was previously involved in an incident with Norton Police on April 2 when Ptlm. Brian Greco attempted to stop a vehicle operated by Wolf on South Worcester Street. Wolf turned onto Barrows Street, continued to Taunton Avenue and into Taunton. Due to Wolf traveling erratically and at a high rate of speed, officers ended the pursuit.
For the April 4 incident, Wolf was charged with resisting arrest, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and four counts of destruction of property. The three warrants were from Norton, Mansfield and Attleboro, charging Wolf with several motor vehicle, property and drug offenses.

For the April 2 incident, Wolf was charged with failure to stop for a police officer, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, speeding and marked lanes violation.
Wolf attempted to evade the officers, who searched the residence and found Wolf hiding in a closet. Wolf was placed under arrest by Ptlm. Marc Robichaud, Ptlm. Patrick Mahoney, Sgt. Jacob Dennett, Det. Lt. Thomas Petersen Jr. and Det. James Franco. After Wolf's arrest, he was transported to the Norton Police Department and held on $1,817.50 cash bail.

Wolf will be arraigned in Attleboro District Court on Tuesday, April 5.
