Saturday, Dec. 17
11:14 a.m.: E. Main Street, report of sexual assault.
12:58 p.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. Damage over $1,000.
7:00 p.m.: Maple Street. Police arrested David J. Compagnone, 38, of Maple Street, and charged him with assault and battery.
Sunday, Dec. 18
12:34 p.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle accident.
Monday, Dec. 19
9:37 a.m.: W. Main Street, assault.
10:29 a.m.: E. Main Street, burglar alarm. Attempted breaking and entering into residence. Upon arrival found unsecure door and questioning missing property in basement. Voicemail left at residence. Canvas complete and evidence taken.
4:38 p.m.: Pleasant Street, suspicious condition. Report of a male that had approached a middle school girl getting off the bus earlier. Possibly someone from Old Colony Rest Home, but not sure. Requesting a cruiser in the area at that time if possible. They have advised staff
also.
7:11 p.m.: James Street, breaking and entering of a residence. Some jewelry was taken.
Tuesday, Dec. 20
7:47 a.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. Caller reports she hit a deer and is enroute to the station for a report. Buck removed.
9:30 a.m.: Young Avenue, assault.
11:31 a.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle theft.
11:32 a.m.: Samoset Street. Police arrested Jamie P. Masse, 39, of Samoset Street, and charged him with assault with a dangerous weapon and threatening to commit a crime.
12:24 p.m.: J. F. Kennedy Drive, identity theft.
6:29 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, shoplifting. Mansfield Police Department advised as licence plate came back to Mansfield resident.
Wednesday, Dec. 21
8:13 a.m.: Danforth Lane, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. Caller reports his wifeβs pocketbook is missing and probably stolen from the unlocked motor vehicle over night.
9:31 a.m.: W. Main Street, field investigation. Report taken for controlled substance activity. Evidence collected.
1:32 p.m.: Alder Road, domestic disturbance.
5:17 p.m.: Bay Road, larceny of UPS package. UPS has been made aware of this and company is going to replace items.
8:35 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, domestic disturbance.
9:04 p.m.: N. Washington Street, assisted Taunton Police Department for follow up on hit and run last week. Female issued citation.
Thursday, Dec. 22
11:24 a.m.: Norton Glen Road, fraud/embezzlement. Walk-in reporting fraudulent use of her Rockland Trust credit card.
Friday, Dec. 23
7:29 a.m.: Haskell Street, vandalism to vehicle.
6:39 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, larceny. Employee requested officer for four young females who left without paying. Owner of vehicle spoken to; her daughter is driving it. Daughter contacted and advised to return and take care of the bill. Bar manager told if the girls have not returned within one hour to call back.
8:55 p.m.: Acre Road, domestic disturbance.
