Saturday, Feb. 26

8:47 p.m.: Police arrested Sean L. Roberts, 41, of E. Main Street, and charged him with red light violation, license suspended for operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, second offense, negligent operation of motor vehicle, drinking from an open container of alcohol.

2:10 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, motor vehicle accident.

7:44 p.m.: N. Washington Street, assisted the fire department.

9:39 p.m.: W. Main Street, vandalism. Report of writing on car while in CVS.

 

Sunday, Feb. 27

8:11 a.m.: Newland Street, motor vehicle accident. Caller reports a gray SUV hit her wall in front of her house. No report made by homeowner. Arrangements made with operator.

4:31 p.m.: Faith Way, harassment/threats.

 

Monday, Feb. 28

6:52 a.m.: S. Washington Street, two-car motor vehicle accident.

7:16 a.m.: Bay Road, motor vehicle accident, car versus tree. No injuries.

7:21a.m.: John Scott Boulevard, motor vehicle accident.

7:30 a.m.: Bay Road, motor vehicle accident rollover.

8:56 a.m.: Bay Road, motor vehicle accident

10:56 a.m.: W. Main Street, breaking and entering of a building. There were visible tire and boot prints. The lock was cut but no access was gained.

11:49 a.m.: E. Main Street, breaking and entering of a trailer.

1:57 p.m.: Taunton Avenue, motor vehicle accident. National Grid notified that pole was half down.

2:34 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, two-car motor vehicle accident.

3:29 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, suspicious condition at ATM. Witness of an older white male removing a gun from his coat pocket and placing it in a brown bag in the trunk of a sedan. Plate and area search negative.

 

Tuesday, March 1

11:34 a.m.: Newcomb Street, mailbox vandalism. Caller reported this was the sixth time in 10 weeks.

 

Wednesday, March 2

10:55 a.m.: Taunton Avenue, larceny by check.

12:33 p.m.: Freeman Street, motor vehicle accident. Damage less than $1,000. Paperwork exchanged.

3:28 p.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. No injuries. Small fluid spill.

8:02 p.m.: Valley Road, Middletown, R.I. Middletown police reported they had an incident in their town involving an individual who had a Norton Police badge and ID. Investigated.

 

Thursday, March 3

2:44 a.m.: W. Main Street, mailbox vandalism.

11:29 a.m.: Barrows Street, general services. Removal of unwanted male from property. Several incidents at this location with assault and battery and dangerous weapons. Male has left property.

12:18 p.m.: E. Main Street, larceny. Bad checks.

4:29 p.m.: Norton Glen Road, suspicious condition. Caller reported three youths shooting a bb gun or paintball gun in the area.

5:26 p.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. Ambulance requested for female having back spasms. Minor damage done to two vehicles, no fluid leaks.

 

Friday, March 4

4:00 p.m.: E. Main Street, fraud/embezzlement. Walk-in report of identity theft.

6:47 p.m.: Woodbine Road, motor vehicle accident. No injuries.

7:55 p.m.: Margaret Drive, breaking and entering of a residence. Laptops missing.

8:40 p.m.: Reservoir Street, assisted Caribou, Maine police. Request for Norton resident to stop contacting Maine resident via phone.
