Norton Police Log: Jan. 7 - 13

Saturday, Jan. 7
8:18 a.m.: W. Main Street, breaking and entering of a residence. Caller reports her father's apartment was broken into and his medications were stolen.
7:26 p.m.: Downing Drive, breaking and entering of a residence. Caller reporting a break-in. She states her boyfriend is outside and they are throwing rocks at him. Advised to have him come back into the house, she then hung up as units were being dispatched. On callback she stated that she believes it is high school kids that keep breaking in through the attic.
11:10 p.m.: E. Main Street. Police arrested Patrick G. Rooslet, 28, of Newland Street, and charged him with speeding in violation of special regulation, operation of a motor vehicle with a revoked license as here-thereto and failure to stop for police.
Sunday, Jan. 8
1:32 a.m.: Top Flight Drive, harassment/threats. Caller reports receiving threatening and harrassing texts and phone calls from ex-boyfriend.
3:47 a.m.: John Scott Boulevard, animal incident. Deer struck, ran off. Minor damage to car.
Monday, Jan. 9
10:13 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue, larceny. Walk in reporting bad check.
3:36 p.m.: Taunton Avenue, motor vehicle accident. Damage less than $1,000.
4:23 p.m.: W. Main Street, trespassing. Female having issues with a tenant that she
had evicted. She is in the process of having him trespassed.
5:13 p.m.: Bay Road, vandalism of a mailbox.
6:14 p.m.: Elm Street, domestic disturbance.
6:39 p.m.: Elm Street. Police arrested Evan P. Smith, 37, of Elm Street, and charged him with assault and battery.
8:37 p.m.: Faith Way, assault. State police reports female caller reporting a disturbance then hung up. Female then called Norton Police Department, reporting a disturbance, possible assault.
9:25 p.m.: Barrows Street. Police arrested Maria C. Prunier, 25, of Faith Way, and charged her with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
11:36 p.m.: S. Worcester Street, motor vehicle accident, car versus deer. Deer is deceased, damage to vehicle.
Tuesday, Jan. 10
10:14 a.m.: Shelly Road, motor vehicle accident.
2:10 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, larceny. Caller reporting another bad check received.
02:41 p.m.: N. Worcester Street, motor vehicle accident.
5:24 p.m.: S. Worcester Street, motor vehicle accident.
5:56 p.m.: W. Main Street, drug offense. The athletic director reports a bag of marijuana was just found.
Wednesday, Jan. 11
4:41 a.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle accident, car versus pole with injury. Pole split in half, all wires intact.
6:55 a.m.: Oak Street, motor vehicle accident. Driverβs side mirror on his pickup was struck by a white bus.
8:10 a.m.: W. Main Street, larceny. Theft of copper from old water tank site.
8:24 a.m.: E. Main Street, assisted Attleboro Police Department for wanted person by Rhode Island State Police.
10:26 a.m.: Cobb Street, larceny of items from Water Department site.
4:18 p.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. Caller reports her driver was struck by another motor vehicle in a parking lot. Female operator of the other motor vehicle got out and took a picture of the license plate and then left. No paper work exchanged.
4:39 p.m.: Rumford Road, sex offense. Multiple callers reporting a bald, heavier male in a red sedan exposed himself to them.
5:19 p.m.: W. Main Street, general disturbance. Caller requesting advice regarding her daughter getting bullied at school.
5:33 p.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle accident.
Thursday, Jan. 12
6:37 p.m.: King Philip Road, motor vehicle accident.
7:51 p.m.: Oak Street, motor vehicle accident.
8:32 p.m.: Country Club Way. Police arrested Christine F. Miller, 42, of Country Club Way, and charged her with marked lanes violation, leaving the scene of property damage and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
Friday, Jan. 13
5:47 a.m.: W. Main Street, animal incident. Deceased deer in the roadway.
3:46 p.m.: Dean Street, larceny by check.
5:47 p.m.: Park Lane, domestic disturbance.
