Norton Police Log: June 4 - 5

The following information was supplied by the Norton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, June 4
7:30 a.m.: W. Main Street, two-car motor vehicle accident. Patient refusal.
10:10 a.m.: Elm Street, fraud/embezzlement. Caller reports eBay scam. No money or banking information was given out, and she did notify eBay.
12:45 p.m.: E. Main Street, by-law violation. Liquor law violation paperwork served.
1:12 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, by-law violation. Liquor law violation paperwork served.
1:46 p.m.: E. Main Street, larceny. Walk-in reporting that his wife forged his checks while he was
incarcerated. Report taken.
2:08 p.m.: S. Washington Street, general disturbance. Desk clerk reporting they have an intoxicated female outside that has left her bags in the lobby. They would like her removed from the property. Female put in protective custody.
2:34 p.m.: W. Main Street, vandalism.

Tuesday, June 5
3:52 a.m.: S. Washington Street, general disturbance. Caller has heard yelling and screaming from her neighbor the last four hours. He is saying he is going to kill anyone who comes near him. Sergeant Whitfield reported upon arrival they could hear noises, but was now quiet. They have knocked on the door several times and the subject refuses to come to the door. Upon return they will force entry.
6:30 a.m.: Gary Road, vandalism. Caller reports her mailbox was damaged overnight.
7:26 a.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. Caller reporting he was rear ended by another vehicle, no injuries reported. Less than $1,000 in damages. Both operators exchanged information and both vehicles left under their own power.
3:03 p.m.: 18 W. Main St., motor vehicle accident. No injuries.
4:51 p.m.: Maple Street, motor vehicle accident. Patient refusal.
10:35 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, general disturbance. Report of a loud party and music with vehicles racing up and down the street. One male under arrest, taser deployed. Both parents on scene and were advised.
10:57 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue. Police arrested Nathaniel David, 18, of Howard Ave., Attleboro, and charged him with assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
