Norton Police Log: May 5 - 6
The following information was supplied by the Norton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, May 5
9:15 a.m.: Maple Street, vandalism. Caller reports his mailbox was run over by a vehicle last night.
12:13 p.m.: W. Main Street, vandalism. Minor damage to turf.
3:45 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, harassment/threats. Caller reports threats via phone and texts.
6:17 p.m.: Fairlee Lane, general disturbance. Caller reporting gunshots coming from the area of the cranberry bogs. Patrolman Chmielinski reports he can hear the shots, more than 500 feet away, but per the homeowners insistence, he is on foot in the area to attempt to talk to the people shooting. Went so far as the bogs and could not locate any shooters.
7:00 p.m.: Bay Road, general disturbance. Call from female reporting gunshots too close to her residence. Sergeant Eisnor on foot down the path. Individuals located on their own property advised and stopping.
7:34 p.m.: W. Main Street, suspicious condition. Caller reports finding a firearm in the parking lot. Patrolman Schleicher found to be a CO2 BB gun.
8:10 p.m.: Boxberry Road, field investigation. Regarding recent breaks in the area.
11:08 p.m.: John Scott Boulevard, animal incident. Caller reports she struck a deer on John Scott between Harvey and Dean. The deer was injured and on the side of the road. The operator drove home and called from there. Minor damage to her vehicle. Area search negative for the deer.
Sunday, May 6
1:27 a.m.: Cobb Street, motor vehicle accident. Caller on 911 reports vehicle into pole in front of her house. Wires down. National Grid advised. Small fluid leak. No injuries.
2:28 a.m.: E. Main Street. Police arrested Nicholas A. Beatrice, 23, of Norton Glen Road, and charged him with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, second offense.
2:39 a.m.: Plain Street, motor vehicle accident. Caller reports Plain at Pine, car into woods on its side, someone bleeding. Driver is conscious and alert. Transported to Rhode Island Hospital. Passenger dropped off at Wheaton. No fluid leaks.
3:51 a.m.: N. Worcester Street, general disturbance. Caller reports she just chased three males out of her yard who were looking into the cars. All three dressed in black and on foot. Area search negative.
4:46 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue, motor vehicle accident. Caller reports car into a tree. No injuries. Wires across the roadway by Tsangs. National Grid advised.
5:20 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue. Police arrested Bryan Steven Fabregas, 23, of Humboldt Avenue, Pawtucket, R.I., and charged him with negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor.
8:59 a.m.: N. Worcester Street, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. Caller reports that someone entered her vehicle overnight and took some change and a cell phone charger. She states that the vehicle was unlocked.
11:28 a.m.: N. Worcester Street, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. Caller reports four vehicles were broken into last night. Unknown if anything was taken.
