Norton Police Log: Nov. 26 - Dec. 2

Saturday, Nov. 26
6:51 a.m.: Dean Street, vandalism of a picture window. Glass on outside broken but not the second pane inside.
12:29 p.m.: W. Main Street, suspicious condition. Caller reports she was walking and she found about seven needles on the ground.
3:50 p.m.: S. Worcester Street, assisted the fire department. Heavy smoke in area from spinning tires.

Sunday, Nov. 27
1:12 a.m.: Taunton Avenue, motor vehicle accident with fluid leak. Box on pole destroyed.
8:33 a.m.: Sanlin Street, assisted the fire department. Caller reports unable to get the furnace going, unable to reach her furnace service people and water in the basement, unsure where it's coming from. Oil leak reported. Report will be filed with Bristol County Elder Affairs.
10:44 a.m.: Reservoir Street, domestic disturbance.
11:25 a.m.: N. Washington Street, vandalism. Car egged overnight.
3:47 p.m.: W. Main Street, gun shots heard in area.

Monday, Nov. 28
9:45 a.m.: Hastings Way, larceny of 10 bundles of white cedar shingles.
10:53 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue, motor vehicle accident.
12:41 p.m.: Police arrested Leighton C. Foster, 78, of W. Main Street, and charged him with open and gross lewdness.
12:44 p.m.: Bay Road, assisted Brockton Police Department requesting Mastercard checks and persons attached to residence in regards to a male and a female seen several times in a car parking and doing heroin.
1:49 p.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident hit and run.
2:30 p.m.: Barrows Street, gun shots in area.

Tuesday, Nov. 29
1:30 a.m.: N. Washington Street, suspicious condition. Town By Law Citation issued for possession of Class D.
7:05 a.m.: Wetherell Way, trespassing. Caller reports hunters on her property.
8:42 a.m.: Hill Street, motor vehicle accident. Vehicle towed.
9:52 a.m.: S. Worcester Street, motor vehicle accident hit and run.
8:46 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue, assisted the fire department. Call received about odor of gas. Health Agent and building inspector advised and enroute.
10:34 a.m.: S. Worcester Street, domestic disturbance.
11:02 a.m.: Police arrested Jason A. St. Germain, 39, of S. Worcester Street, and charged him with assault and battery.
1:36 p.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. Damage to fence as well.
8:21 p.m.: S. Worcester Street, vandalism to a van.
9:19 p.m.: Hill Street, motor vehicle accident, car versus deer.

Wednesday, Nov. 30
8:09 a.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle accident.
2:53 p.m.: Commerce Way, larceny of 80 water bottles.

Thursday, Dec. 1
9:33 a.m.: Ellis Road, vandalism to Christmas lights.
10:51 a.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident.
2:15 p.m.: Lincoln Street, larceny of a wildlife camera.

Friday, Dec. 2
7:50 a.m.: S. Worcester Street, vandalism. Spray paint on the building.
12:01 p.m.: Old COlony Road, assisted Attleboro Police Department for vehicle involved in hit and run.
3:30 p.m.: Mansfield Avenue, motor vehicle accident.
5:07 p.m.: W. Main Street, domestic disturbance.
5:06 p.m.: Pine Street, motor vehicle accident rollover. Odor of gas. Pole struck but intact.
