Two Norton residents were among more than 220 members of the Massachusetts State Police 80th Recruit Training Troop who began their day with a physical training run Oct. 21 at the State Police Academy in New Braintree.  William S. Hall and Gregory S. Murphy completed the first of 21 weeks of classroom, situational and physical training Friday.  The 80th Recruit Training Troop is the first State Police recruit class since 2006.

William S. Hall and Gregory S. Murphy completed the first of 21 weeks of classroom, situational and physical training Friday.  The 80th Recruit Training Troop is the first State Police recruit class since 2006.
