Norton student completes acadmic exchange in China

Leo Catinella of Norton, a junior at Boston College High School, together with 11 other BC High students and under the guidance of faculty members Michael Gardner and Ms. Yi-ching Yang, recently participated in BC High's 12th annual Beijing Summer Seminar.

The Beijing Seminar is a four-week academic exchange program offered by BC High in conjunction with High School Number 2 in Beijing, China.

While in China, Catinella attended intensive daily language classes, as well as classes in history and Chinese culture .  He lived with a host family to fully immerse himself in everything the Chinese culture has to offer and he received academic credit for this experience.
