Norton Teens Charged in Fire Alarm Spree

Norton police said they caught two teens who maliciously hit a half-dozen fire alarms across town.

NORTON, MA β€” Two Norton teenagers were charged this week with a host of crimes for pulling fire alarms across town, according to police. The suspects are an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old. Their names were not released because of their young age.

Police said on Sunday, officers were dispatched to the Fire Department on Union Road after someone pulled a fire alarm on a pole. Witnesses were able to provide police with a description of the suspects. It was the latest in a series of malicious fire alarm pulls in recent months, police said.

Officers stopped a blue Ford Crown Victoria with the suspects inside, police said. They were each charged with six counts of creating a false alarm.
