Fatal Motorcycle Crash: Norton Woman Seriously Hurt
A motorcyclist was killed and a Norton woman was seriously hurt in a crash Sunday night.

WEST BRIDGEWATER, MA β A Norton woman was seriously injured in a fatal motorcycle crash in West Bridgewater Sunday night. The crash happened on Route 24 south near Exit 16 and involved a motorcycle and a sedan, police said. The motorcycle driver, a 46-year-old man from Brockton, was killed. The motorcycle passenger, a 53-year-old Norton woman, was medflighted to a Boston-area hospital with serious injuries.

The vehicles involved were a 2016 Harley David Road Glide motorcycle and a 2006 Chrysler 300 sedan, police said. The sedan was operated by a 62-year-old New Bedford man who was not seriously hurt.

"While the cause of this crash remains under investigation, speed is believed to be a factor," state police said in a statement.
