Over Half Of Norton Loses Power In Second Storm
Thousands of residents are without power for the second time in a week.

NORTON, MA β Last week's storm slammed Norton with high winds and rain, knocking out power in over 80 percent of the town. Now, it's the snow that's leaving residents in the dark. Over 4,500 customers were without power in Norton as of 7 a.m., amounting to about 62 percent of those served in town.
Norton canceled school Thursday, March 8, as three schools lost power, according to the superintendent.
The outages come as rain turned to heavy snow in Eastern Mass. late Wednesday night. More than 400,000 were without power in the aftermath of last Friday's storm.
