Over Half Of Norton Is Without Power
Norton's latest weather: a "bomb cyclone" system brought flooding and 60+ mph winds; more power outages are expected this weekend.

NORTON, MA β A "bomb cyclone" nor'easter knocked out power in Norton Friday afternoon. As of 4:10 p.m., there were 6,435 without power in Norton, according to MEMA. That accounts for about 84 percent of the customers in the town.
More outages are expected later Friday into Saturday, as 60+ mph winds are anticipated. Statewide, over 130,000 lost power Friday afternoon and coastal roads up and down the state flooded.
