Police Log: Deer Causes $1K Damage to Vehicle

Saturday, Sept. 20
At 12:07 p.m., police reported harassing phone calls and text messages regarding a boat/car on Cobb Street.
At 2:55 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident in which an elderly female struck a mailbox, caused damage and left the scene on Elm Street.

At 4:30 p.m., police reported vandalism of a blue Mercury Sable with four flat tires on Norton Glen Road.

At 1:14 a.m., police arrested Jaycob Morales, 22, 40 Fairmont St. of Lawrence, for assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Morales was arrested after a caller reported a loud party involving Wheaton College students on Taunton Avenue.
At 1:38 p.m., police reported breaking and entering of several motor vehicles on East Hodges Street. A caller reported two hubcaps and change stolen from a vehicle.
At 9:22 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Old Colony Road where a broken window was found. Officers contacted local hospitals in case someone came in with injuries that could have been caused by a broken window.
Monday, Sept 22
At 1:13 p.m., police reported larceny of a green Trek mountain bicycle stolen by a caucasian teenage male, about six feet tall, with dark hair, jeans, a black shirt and a backpack.
At 8:45 p.m., police reported an argument regarding a family member coming home with a tattoo on King Philip Road.
Tuesday, Sept. 23
At 6:39 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident with property damage in which a deer hit a car and caused an estimated $1,000 in damage on Dean Street.
At 8:52 a.m., police reported breaking and entering of a building on Old Colony Road where a window was broken and loose change was taken.
At 6:03 p.m., police reported assault on Mansfield Avenue.
At 11:02 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle stop where the driver of a black Kia had a revoked license. The car was towed and police filed a criminal application.
