Police Log: Driver Flees Crash, Leaves $1K in Damages

Saturday, Sept. 27
At 1:19 a.m., police arrested Joshua J. Reis, 27, 316 Harrison Ave. of Boston, for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a red light violation. Police pulled Reis over for a red light violation on East Main Street.
At 9:07 a.m., police arrested Charles E. Mueller, 33, 455 Mill St. of Mansfield, for larceny under $250 and attempt to commit a crime on Norton Glen Road.

At 12:18 p.m., police received a report from Easton Police Department regarding two females in a silver Nissan Altima that shoplifted two carts worth of merchandise from Easton Hannafords.

At 1:20 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident in which a woman in a silver truck hit a vehicle, left the scene and caused over $1,000 in damage on West Main Street.
At 5:19 a.m., police reported a tree down on White Street. An officer dragged the tree to the side of the road and left a message with the highway to remove the tree on Monday.
At 10:29 p.m., police reported a domestic disturbance on Morgan Lane in which a male was reportedly out of control and believed to be intoxicated. Police put the male into protective custody.
Monday, Sept. 29
At 8:28 a.m., police reported larceny of scrap metal on South Worcester Street.
At 4:24 p.m., police reported a missing minor on Perry Street who did not come home from school. The bus driver was notified and said the minor was not on the afternoon bus. At 7:06 p.m., police brought the minor home.
Tuesday, Sept. 30
At 7:26 a.m., police reported harassment in which a neighbor has been harassing a woman about her dogs on Island Road.
At 7:30 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident with property damage involving two students on Power Street.
At 10:07 a.m., police reported a general incident in which a woman found a gun that belonged to her late husband while cleaning on Janet Street. Police took possession of the weapon, a Marlin .22 caliber single shot bolt action with no serial number.
At 9:51 p.m., police reported a drug offense on North Worcester Street in which police put out a BOLO for a brown BMW with MA plates and a female walking towards Tedeschi Food Shop. Police did not locate the suspect.
At 10:26 p.m., police reported vandalism in which a caller reported her tires were popped after she was verbally threatened by a neighbor on Holmes Street.
